What a free account adds, at no cost

Talk to Stranger never asks for an account. Creating one is free as well, and you only need it to take part in the rest of the site.

With an account you can write in the chat of live rooms and turn on your camera there, create your own room with a name and a description and share it with a link, go live, like, comment on and repost posts, and publish your own photos and videos. You also get a free wallet for BTC, PCASH and PCHAT, with a Bitcoin address created automatically, and a level (LV) that grows with your activity.

Optional extras: tips, Unlock and paid battles

Money on PEE.CHAT is a way to support people, never the price of a random video chat. There are three ways to spend it, and each one is your choice.

Tips are a thank-you sent from your wallet in BTC, PCASH or PCHAT in a few seconds: to a creator, to the host of a live room, to someone in your private messages, or to a side in Battle Camera. Battle tips are held in escrow; the winner takes the pot minus a 2% fee, and a cancelled or drawn battle refunds every tip.

Unlock lets creators sell some photos or videos as paid posts. You pay only for the ones you decide to unlock.

A battle can also be set as paid to watch, and then the two battlers share the revenue. Voting in battles is free.

Keeping it free, and spotting a catch

Spending nothing is easy: everything in the first two groups works without paying. Use Talk to Stranger, watch rooms, scroll the feed, chat and post with a free account, and simply leave tips and Unlock aside. The random video chat never asks for your card details.

That makes one warning sign easy to spot. If someone in a chat asks you to send money or coins to keep talking, or promises something in return for a payment, that is not how PEE.CHAT works: skip to the next person and report them.

If you do create an account, protect the wallet that comes with it. Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA), keep your login codes to yourself, and block anyone who pressures you to send coins.
