Frequently asked questions
Can I chat in Hausa on PEE.CHAT?
Yes, when your match speaks Hausa too. Matches are random from anywhere, so English is a good backup, and the chat simply runs in whatever you both understand.
Does video chat use a lot of data?
Video does use data, like any video call, so Wi-Fi is the safest choice if your bundle is small. Talk to Stranger itself is free, with no account, email or card. Rooms and the feed are free to watch too.
Can I open my own room and invite friends?
Yes, with a free account. Give the room a name and a description and share the link; anyone can watch without an account, while members chat. Members can also send you tips, which are never guaranteed.
