Frequently asked questions
Can I go live from Johannesburg?
Yes, with a free account. Open a room in the browser, give it a name and a description, and share the link. Members can chat in your room and send tips, but tips are never guaranteed.
Will I only meet people from Jozi?
No. Talk to Stranger matches people at random from anywhere, so your next hello could come from another continent. Tell them you are from Joburg, and skip on if the chat is not for you.
Are the photos and videos in the feed real?
AI-generated photos and videos are blocked at upload, so the feed is meant for real creators. Report anything that breaks the rules and moderation will look into it.
